Arabi Elementary School was originally known as Arabi Park Middle School before the school campus changed into a primary school in 1999. Till then, the school has held a school of 700 students from grades Kindergarten and 5th Grade. On August 29, 2005, Arabi Elementary was severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Since then the school has been closed. By August 2009, Arabi Elementary School will re-open its doors to brand new students of St. Bernard Parish. The School will soon remain its regular procedures.
